GORGEOUS WEEKEND

It was a typical Scottish wedding. Everything was gorgeous!!!!!

“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives”

OPEN EYES

“Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.”
Psalm 119:18

God is in our life everyday. There is no place we can be that He can't see us. He is fully presented.

I need God's help to keep my eyes wide open to see wonderful things.

LORD, KEEP MY EYES OPEN, MY HEART WARM TO UNDERSTAND YOUR LAW. I SEE WONDERFUL THINGS IN MY DAILY LIFE. YOU ARE COMPLETELY WITH ME AND I WORSHIP YOU FOR YOUR LOYALTY.

THANKS MY SAVIOUR.

GOD WILL MAKE A WAY By DON MOEN w/ lyrics

TOO BUSY FOR A FRIEND

One day a teacher asked her students to list the names of the other students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between each name.

Then she told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about each of their classmates and write it down.It took the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment, and as the students left the room, each one handed in the papers.

That Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a separate sheet of paper, and listed what everyone else had said about that individual.

On Monday she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire class was smiling. "Really?" she heard whispered. "I never knew that I meant anything to anyone!" and, "I didn't know others liked me so much." were most of the comments. No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She never knew if they discussed them after class or with their parents, but it didn't matter. The exercise had accomplished its purpose.

The students were happy with themselves and one another. That group of students moved on.

Several years later, one of the students was killed in Vietnam and his teacher attended the funeral of that special student. She had never seen a serviceman in a military coffin before. He looked so handsome, so mature. The church was packed with his friends. One by one those who loved him took a last walk by the coffin. The teacher was the last one to bless the coffin. As she stood there, one of the soldiers who acted as pallbearer came up to her.

"Were you Mark's math teacher?" he asked. She nodded: "yes." Then he said: "Mark talked about you a lot."

After the funeral, most of Mark's former classmates went together to a luncheon. Mark's mother and father were there, obviously waiting to speak with his teacher.

"We want to show you something," his father said, taking a wallet out of his pocket. "They found this on Mark when he was killed. We thought you might recognize it." Opening the billfold, he carefully removed two worn pieces of notebook paper that had obviously been taped, folded and refolded many times. The teacher knew without looking that the papers were the ones on which she had listed all the good things each of Mark's classmates had said about him.

"Thank you so much for doing that," Mark's mother said. "As you can see, Mark treasured it." All of Mark's former classmates started to gather around. Charlie smiled rather sheepishly and said, "I still have my list. It's in the top drawer of my desk at home."Chuck's wife said, "Chuck asked me to put his in our wedding album." "I have mine too," Marilyn said. "It's in my diary." Then Vicki, another classmate, reached into her pocketbook, took out her wallet and showed her worn and frazzled list to the group. "I carry this with me at all times," Vicki said and without batting an eyelash, she continued: "I think we all saved our lists."That's when the teacher finally sat down and cried. She cried for Mark and for all his friends who would never see him again.

The density of people in society is so thick that we forget that life will end one day. And we don't know when that one day will be. So please, tell the people you love and care for, that they are special and important. Tell them, before it is too late. And One Way To Accomplish This Is:

Forward this message on. If you do not send it, you will have, once again passed up the wonderful opportunity to do something nice and beautiful. If you've received this, it is because someone cares for you and it means there is probably at least someone for whom you care. If you're "too busy" to take those few minutes right now to forward this message on, would this be the VERY first time you didn't do that little thing that would make a difference in your relationships?

The more people that you send this to, the better you'll be at reaching out to those you care about.

Remember, you reap what you sow. What you put into the lives of others comes back into your own.

GO FORTH

According to the Bible, a cloud of locust are like an army of enemy. They can devor everything in sight and bring down a kingdom. They are unstoppable!

Let's reflect about different aspects of the locusts:

a)They find the way, but never give up. It means that we should keep praying, keep believing, keep fighting, because the victory is assured...

Romans 8:31

"If God is for us, who can be against us?"

d)The locusts operate in "bands". It means that we must be surrounded with the right people. Look for the ones who have an appetite for life and hunger for God.

Mattheew 18:19
"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven."

c)The Locusts can't really fly, but they can jump 200 times their own height, so when the wind blows they can be carried to their destination.

When God move, be sure you move! Trust God and recognise his time, take a leap of faith and let the wind of His Spirit take you where you need to go.

Hebrews 5:12

"In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!"

Learn elementary truths of God's word all over again. The wind will blow again. So star praying and be prepared and ready.

d) The locusts have no leader, yet they go forth.

Joshua 1:11

"...you will cross the Jordan here to go in and take possession of the land the LORD your God is giving you for your own."

It's your time. Don't wait that someone will take you by the hand and tell you how it's all going to work out.

Joshua 1:9

" Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

Isaiah 6:8

"Here am I. Send me!"

Deuteronomy 28:13

"The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom."

"IT IS VERY CLEAR, THAT MY WINGS ARE VERY SMALL TO TRAVEL TO THIS FAR.
IT WASN'T MY FLAPPING AROUND THAT GOT ME HERE.
IT WAS GOD!"

THANKS LORD!

SPREADING THE SEEDS

The Bible says:

“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”

- Proverbs 22:6

It is expected to hear lovely words when you spread them, but from adolescents and boys are quite hard. They are touch to respect their parents, to be responsible, to be sensible, but you never know.

Spend your time listening to your children, they might have something to tell you that you would be delighted. Do not under estimate their knowledge. You can have a big surprise.

LORD ALMIGHTY

EVERY PLACE I AM,

EVERY FLOWER I SEE,

MOUNTAINS, RIVERS, TREES,

EVERY BREATH I TAKE,

I THINK OF YOU LORD.

GOD IS LIGHT

Revelation 21:22-23

22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.

Lets remember that God is light and His son is the lamp.

Keep Jesus in your heart. Run away from sins, because they put you away from God.

EVERYBODY IS GOOD AT SOMETHING

We should not be dominate and selfish toward other. On the other hand, we should let them go and live their own lives.

Everybody has got gifts from Lord. They might be listening, speaking, doing something, anything that we are good at.

The Holy Spirit comes to realize the gifts Lord has already given us.

Jesus Appears to His Disciples 19 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, Peace be with you!

John 20:19

The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost 1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.

GOD'S PROTECTION

Psalms 18:2

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Jeremiah 16:19

O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things where in there is no profit.

HIGHLANDS

It does not matter where you are, but find your "THIN PLACE" to feel the presence of The Lord. The "THIN PLACE" can be your bedroom, in the woodie, in your garden, but also can be in the mountains, up there, very close to him. When I was looking at the hills and the mountains so gorgeous around me...some water running down from the top... the clouds were so close... I thought how small I am, and how God is MAGNIFICENT, ALMIGHTY, HOLY, WORTHY...

Exodus 9

4'You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself. 5 Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession."

God chooses us, even when we do not deserve. He is Almighty and we are His treasured possession.

"Although the whole earth is mine, 6 you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.'

But I believe God wants us holy, responsable, obedient and committed to His kingdon.

9 The LORD said to Moses, "I am going to come to you in a dense cloud, so that the people will hear me speaking with you and will always put their trust in you."

Lord comes to us, He chooses the time, the place, and how He wants us.

12 Put limits for the people around the mountain and tell them, 'Be careful that you do not go up the mountain or touch the foot of it.

But there are boundaries, because He is God, The Lord, The Almighty.

18 Mount Sinai was covered with smoke, because the LORD descended on it in fire. The smoke billowed up from it like smoke from a furnace, the whole mountain trembled violently, 19 and the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder.

What a privilege to know that God chose me! Thanks Lord! In Jesus name. Amem

SCOTLAND THEME PARK

The weather promised to be good for some days, so, why not to take the chance and go to a theme park?
We traveled for about 2 hours to go from Arbroath to M&D's near Glasgow. It really works!!! Roller coaster, white water, swings, some loops, wow, that made my tummy upset, but we were there. What a great day!!! The girls enjoyed it so much that they went on the rides many times.
1 Sing to the LORD a new song,
for he has done marvelous things;
his right hand and his holy arm
have worked salvation for him.
Psalm 98

IT WAS NOT PLANNED

Tuesday, 01st of July 2008.

"Do we go to Stonehaven or Anstruther?"

Nobody could decide, but we went to Anstruther. What a beautiful decision!!! It was warm, sunshine, over 20 degress, and that feeling of ..."WE ARE ON HOLIDAY", and it is not all, we are four...very nice...!!!

Lots of pictures, fish and chips, fish cake, and...of course that delicious ice cream, mango flavour...

A perfect day, and nothing planned at all.

"I will sing of your love and justice; to you, O LORD, I will sing praise. " Psalm 101:1

SUNDAY

This was our very quiet Sunday, like a normal family day. Beautiful sunshine and nothing much to do, just enjoy ourselves, big smiles as you can see here. I worship the Lord for this unforgetable day, so special for me. I have waited for a long time to join all the parts to make this family complete, and it is not done at all. I still have one part in Brazil, and another here in Scotland. Anyway, they are around and in my heart. Love you all!

SHADOW

Looking carefully at our shadows, we can see God's hands, who created the universe and made everything so right and perfect. Like our shadow that follows us every where, I ask you my Lord:

"Stay with us Jesus Christ, our Lord, our Saviour, our King. You know every where we go, everything we do. Follow us today and every day of our life."

"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. "
